Background
Maria is an orphan who grew up in an orphanage in Moonshire after her parents passed when she was very young. She has no family for support. She met Rain on his business trip to her agency, where she worked as a model. They dated for three years before he proposed. She recently moved to New Hamptons two months before the events of the story, having been engaged to Rain.
Personality
Emotionally sensitive and affectionate with Rain, calling him "prince" while he calls her "princess." She struggles with adapting to city life and unemployment.
