Vivien
Vivien is the head of state of the water-moon and the leader of Azure, the underwater city. Approximately fifteen hundred years old, appearing to be in her early twenties, she is the niece of the elder Allanon and a cousin of Jane. Vivien is vain, provocative, and openly attention-seeking, fully aware of the effect her beauty has on those around her. Her court manners run from gracious hostess to barbed antagonist, depending on whether her guest is famous or handsome enough to deserve her charm. Beneath the surface, she is more perceptive than she lets on and asks pertinent questions when something genuinely interests her.
Appearance
A young woman of refined face and very fair skin, with long white hair reaching to her waist. She has furry feline cat ears on top of her head and a pale feline tail. She wears a transparent strapless dress with only light blue ribbons underneath, a deliberately provocative choice. A golden bracelet inlaid with a light blue stone in the colors of the water-moon is on her left wrist.
Background
Niece of the water-moon elder Allanon and cousin of Jane, Vivien grew up praised for her beauty since adolescence and was constantly compared to High Priestess Kyra, breeding lasting resentment between them. She was recently appointed to the post of head of state of the water-moon and governs from the Crystal Palace in the underwater city of Azure.
Personality
Vain and attention-seeking, Vivien behaves as though she is always the most beautiful figure in the room. Her dress and demeanor are calculated to provoke. She is socially calculating, sending dinner invitations to famous or handsome guests and insisting on hosting them personally. She holds open hostility toward Kyra rooted in adolescent comparisons. Despite the vanity, she shows occasional sharpness of mind and is not above asking the right question at the right moment.
